The Impact of Service Industry Opening on Urban Green Development:A Quasi-natural Experiment Based on Pilot Projects for Innovative Development of Trade in Services
Taking 292 cities in China from 2010 to 2021 as samples,this paper explores the policy effect of pilot projects for innovative development of trade in services and the impact on urban green total factor productivity.The research shows that China's service industry opening can significantly enhance urban green total factor productivity;technological innovation plays a mediating role between pilot policies for innovative development of trade in services and green total factor productivity;pilot policies for innovative development of trade in services can indirectly improve green total factor productivity through promoting industrial structure upgrading.Therefore,it is necessary to continue to enhance urban green total factor productivity,encourage the enterprises to provide green products and services in the field of trade in services and bring into full play the role of technological innovation in promoting green total factor productivity.
