Evolution of International Trade Research Over the Decade:Analysis Based on CiteSpace Mapping Knowledge Domain
Over the past decade, the dramatic changes in the global economic and trade landscape have promoted the rapid development of international trade research. This paper comprehensively uses CiteSpace bibliometrics and mapping knowledge domain, and selects academic papers reprinted in full in"World Economy"and"Research on International Trade"by China Social Science Excellence from 2013 to 2022 as the source of literature. The research shows that there is great potential in the field of international trade research, and the Belt and Road as well as global value chain are hot topics in this field;in terms of theoretical development, core theories such as heterogeneous firm trade theory are gradually integrating political, economic and security factors, demonstrating a new trend of interdisciplinary intersection;established research models, such as gravity model,input-output analysis,DSGE model and GTAP model, are also adapting to this shift. There is still room for the improvement in current research in terms of practical concerns, thematic innovation and clarity of scientific issues. In the future,it is necessary to deepen the analysis of the international situation and construct an international trade knowledge system with Chinese characteristics.
