On Space and Educational Space:Vocational Education and Continuing Education
Education science,especially vocational education and continuing education-adult education science,has always focused on and practiced the theory of practice:not only observation,but also shaping.Among them,vocational education,as a type of education,differs greatly from general education in that it is a cross-border education.This cross-border feature is manifested not only by crossing the separation between enterprises and schools,the separation between work and learning,but also by crossing the gap between the two social spaces of vocational and education,making the operation of vocational education exhibit synchronicity in the horizontal development of space.Continuing education adult education,as a core element of lifelong learning,is an educational activity implemented after formal vocational and higher education,including education and training related to or unrelated to work,institutional or non-institutional education and training,as well as part-time,vocational and post vocational education and training.This makes the operation of continuing education adult education take place in a dynamic development career that accompanies people throughout their lives,and therefore has a diachronic characteristic in terms of spatial vertical development.Therefore,vocational education space and continuing education adult education space should follow the general laws of space and education space,as well as the operational laws of their respective educational spaces.
