1983年,邓小平同志为北京景山学校题词,"教育要面向现代化,面向世界,面向未来"."三个面向"开启了教育现代化建设的新征程,在其指引下,中国教育事业取得了举世瞩目的伟大成就.党的十八大以来,中国特色社会主义进入新时代,以习近平新时代中国特色社会主义思想和习近平总书记关于教育的重要论述为指导,"三个面向"被赋予了新内涵和新使命:面向现代化,实施教育、科技、人才"三位一体"战略,加速发展新质生产力;面向世界,推动落实三大全球倡议、弘扬和平共处五项原则,携手构建人类命运共同体;面向未来,以中国式现代化全面推进中华民族伟大复兴、创造人类文明新形态.
Historical Implications of the"Three Orientations"and Their New Connotation and Mission in the New Era——Commemoration of the 120th Anniversary of the Birth of Deng Xiaoping
In 1983,Deng Xiaoping inscribed for Beijing Jingshan School,"Education must be oriented towards modernization,the world,and the future".The"Three Orientations"inaugurated a new journey for the modernization of education,under whose guidance China's education sector has achieved remarkable accomplishments that have attracted worldwide attention.Since the 18th national congress of the communist Party of china,socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.Guided by Xi Jinping thought on socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era and general secretary Xi Jinping's important expositions on education,the"Three Orientations"have been endowed with new connotations and missions:orienting towards modernization,implementing the trinity strategy of"education,science and technology,and talent"to accelerate the development of new productive forces;orienting towards the world,promoting the implementation of the three major global initiatives,upholding the five principles of peaceful coexistence,and working together to build a community with a shared future for mankind;and orienting towards the future,comprehensively advancing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation through Chinese-style modernization and creating a new form of human civilization.
