Characteristics of the Symbiotic Relationship Between Universities and Cities and Industries in the Context of the Metropolitan Area and Synergistic Strategies
The symbiotic relationship between universities and cities and industries is a mutual influence and mutual benefit relationship formed by the relevant subjects through the mechanisms of knowledge transfer,resource sharing,technological innovation and talent flow with their own function as a link.Along with the basic formation of national major metropolitan areas and the increasingly clear functional positioning,the symbiotic relationship between universities and cities and industries presents new features such as closer regional synergy,efficiency upgrading and innovation-driven development.In order to build a more open and diversified,high-quality integrated modern metropolitan area,and to promote the formation of an integrated and mutually beneficial symbiotic relationship between colleges and universities and cities and industries in the metropolitan area,it is necessary to further play a synergistic role of institutions of higher education:firstly,we need to close the correlation between institutions of higher education and enterprises and cities in the metropolitan area;secondly,we need to strengthen the synergistic and common governance of institutions of higher education and industries and cities in the metropolitan area;and thirdly,to enhance the symbiosis efficiency between higher education institutions and industries and cities in the metropolitan area.
