Developing New Quality Productive Forces through Higher Education Services:Policy Clues and Realistic Paths
As the leading force in the construction of a strong education country,higher education can promote the improvement of workers'quality,the technological content of labor materials,and the expansion of the scope of labor objects in a virtuous cycle of smooth integration of education,technology,and talent.It serves the development of new quality productivity by directly upgrading productivity factors and indirectly constructing new production relations.Since the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the policy framework of higher education has implied a strong foundation of practical cooperation between higher education and new quality productive forces.It is necessary to timely combine the small logic of running schools with the big logic of serving the country and the people.Higher education,situated within the social organism,must accelerate the pace of reform towards reality and empower new quality productive forces in the"three in one"structure of disciplines,economic industries,and labor employment.It is suggested that higher education reform should focus on the new changes in the economic foundation,accelerate the optimization of regional oriented discipline and major layout,explore new forms of universities that integrate industry and education and focus on industrial education,and establish a national database for talent supply and demand docking in higher education.
