摘要
学界关于阳明心学的现代研究已取得了丰硕成果,但对王阳明及其后学的处物应事之道尚乏专门论述.其实该问题非常关键,不仅关涉阳明心学的治学"头脑"以及如何在心体上用功的问题,而且也是阳明学与佛道之间划开界限的主要依据.基于"心即理"的本体论与在心体上用功的工夫论宗旨,王阳明及其后学既主张圣人之学务在存心而反对务外逐物,同时也对离于物而入虚寂的错误异端保持警惕,他们秉持的是"廓然而大公,物来而顺应"的处物之道,正在"不逐"与"不离"之间.厘清阳明学派的处物之道,不仅有助于深入理解阳明心学的核心命题与精神要义,而且是进一步把握其科举态度、游艺观念等重要问题的哲学基础,也可为当今的生活日用提供心学智慧.
Abstract
The modern research on Yangming's theory of mind has achieved fruitful results in the academic community,but there is no specific discussion on the ways in which Wang Yangming and his subsequent scholars handle things and apply them.In fact,this issue is very crucial,related to not only the study of the"mind"of Yangming's philosophy and how to work hard in the mind and body but also the main basis for drawing the boundary between Yangming's philosophy and Buddhism.Based on the ontology of"mind is reason"and the principle of working hard on the mind and body,Wang Yangming and his successors advocated that the academic work of sages should be focused on the mind and opposed the pursuit of things outside of it.At the same time,they remained vigilant against the erroneous heresy of leaving things and entering emptiness and silence.They adhered to the way of dealing with things,which is"grand but grand,and things come and conform",and are between"not pursuing"and"not leaving".
