Impact of Stage Comprehensive Psychological Intervention Based on Posttraumatic Growth Model on the Psychological State of Patients with Spinal Cord Injury
Objective To explore the impact of staged comprehensive psychological intervention based on posttraumatic growth model on the psychological state of patients with spinal cord injury(SCI).Methods A total of 86 patients with SCI admitted to the Department of Orthopedics of our hospital were randomly divided into control group and observation group, with the control group(43 cases)undergoing routine psychological nursing and the observation group(43 cases)undergoing staged comprehensive psychological intervention.Scores of Hamiltonian Anxiety Scale(HAMA),Hamiltonian Depression Scale(HAMD),Post-Traumatic Growth Scale(PTGI),and nursing satisfaction were compared between two groups. Results At discharge, the HAMA and HAHD scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),the PTGI score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(77.45±19.69 vs.68.54±13.72,P<0.05),and nursing satisfaction score in the observation group was higher than in the control group(83.72%vs.55.81%,P<0.05).Conclusion The staged comprehensive psychological intervention based on the post-traumatic growth model can intervene in patients'psychological problems such as anxiety and depression at different stages, effectively improve the psychological state of SCI patients, enhance their confidence in post-traumatic growth, and improve psychological and social adaptability.
