针对Y型六角铁氧体Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22单相多晶样品的固相法制备工艺及磁性能进行研究.通过粉末X射线衍射表征Y型六角铁氧体Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22单相多晶样品的物相及晶体结构,实验结果表明,当烧结温度为1 120~1 160 ℃,有M相产生,随着温度升高,M相的衍射峰逐渐减小;当烧结温度达到约1 170 ℃时,得到Y型六角铁氧体Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22的单相.通过扫描电子显微镜及能谱研究样品的微观结构、形貌及成分,统计结果表明,Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22铁氧体呈现拉长的六角形形貌,平均晶粒尺寸约3 μm,同时还存在小的颗粒,且2种形貌的成分相同.利用综合物性测量系统对样品的磁特性进行表征,发现在330 K和90 K温度附近存在2种磁性异常,分析表明,330 K附近的磁性异常对应锥形磁结构相变,90 K附近的磁性异常对应自旋玻璃相变.Y型六角铁氧体Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22锥形磁相变的磁有序温度高于室温,为室温下磁电耦合提供可能.
Preparation and magnetic properties of Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22 Y-type hexagonal ferrite
Y-type hexaferrite Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22 single-phase polycrystalline samples were synthesized by the solid-state reaction method.The crystal structue of Y-type hexaferrite Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22 was characterized by X-ray diffraction.X-ray diffraction re-sults show the impure phase is M-type hexaferrite when the sintering temperature is 1 120 ℃ to 1 160 ℃,respectively.The single-phase Y-type hexaferrite Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22 was prepared when the sintering temperature is 1 170 ℃.The microstructure and com-position were analyzed with field emission scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive spectrometer,respectively.Y-type hexaferrite Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22 shows hexagonal morphology with grain size about 3 µm and small cluster.According to the energy spectrum analysis,the composition of the two forms is the same.The magnetic property was characterized by physical property mea-surement system.Magnetization curves revealed two magnetic transitions at 330 K and 90 K,which corresponded to conical mag-netic ordering and spin-glass phase transition.The conical magnetic phase transitio ordering temperature of Ba0.4Sr1.6Mg2Fe12O22 is higher than the room temperature,which provides the possibility of magnetoelectric coupling at room temperature.
