体积参数试验方法修正及旧料特性对冷再生混合料性能影响研究

沥青路面回收旧料特征及室内混合料体积参数确定方法均对冷再生混合料设计影响较大,为进一步提高混合料性能设计水平,对室内冷再生混合料试件毛体积密度、理论最大相对密度、最佳含水率等试验方法进行了修正,同时对旧料老沥青含量、针入度指标、矿料抽提后 4.75 mm筛孔通过率及抽提前后级配变化率进行了深入分析,并对比研究了RAP旧料特征对乳化沥青冷再生混合料抗弯拉强度、水稳定性、高温性能及低温性能的影响.结果表明:1)冷再生混合料最佳含水率的确定,应采用与试件成型相匹配的击实功,毛体积密度测定方法中,表干法试验结果偏大,蜡封法试验结果不稳定,Corelock法结果相对真实,从室内试验结果稳定性和准确性考虑,同时兼顾经济性,建议采用表干法;2)修正的理论最大相对密度试验方法可减少真空测试法产生的系统误差;3)旧料老沥青含量少且抽提前后级配变化率小,冷再生混合料的空隙率就越低,且水稳定性好;4)旧料老沥青针入度越大,冷再生混合料断裂功及低温劈裂强度(-10℃、-25℃)越大;5)当乳化沥青用量一定时,老沥青含量高、针入度大、矿料抽提后4.75 mm筛孔通过率高,冷再生混合料高温性能则表现较差.
Research on Modification of Volume Parameter Test Method and Influence of RAP Characteristics on Performance of Cold Recycled Mixture
In order to better control the performance of cold recycled mixture,the test methods of bulk specific gravity,theoretical maximum relative density and optimal moisture content of cold recycled mixture were modified.Simultaneously,the characteristics of RAP,including the content of old asphalt,penetration index,passing rate of 4.75 mm sieve and gradation change rate after extraction,were analyzed.The influence of RAP characteristics on bending tensile strength,water stability,high-temperature and low-temperature performance of emulsified asphalt cold recycled mixture was studied.The results showed that:1)The optimum moisture content of cold recycled mixture should be determined by the compaction work matching with the molding of the specimen,among the methods of measuring bulk specific gravity,the results of surface dry method are larger and more stable than that of wax sealing method,and the results of Corelock method are relatively true,considering the stability and accuracy of laboratory test results and economy,surface dry method is recommended;2)The modified theoretical maximum relative density test method can reduce the systematic error caused by vacuum test method;3)The smaller the content of old asphalt and the smaller the change rate of gradation,the lower the voids and the better the water stability of cold recycled mixture;4)The greater the penetration of old asphalt,the greater the fracture work and low-temperature splitting strength(-10℃,-25℃);5)The greater the penetration,the higher the passing rate of 4.75 mm sieve after extraction,and the worse the high-temperature performance of cold recycled mixture.
