Experimental Study of Construction Waste in Road Accessories
In order to study the feasibility of the application of construction waste in road accessories such as road sidestones, curbstones, sidewalk paving bricks, this paper adopts P-O 42.5-grade ordinary silicate cement, polycarboxylic acid water reducing agent, natural aggregate with 5~10 mm particle size and recycled aggregate of construction waste from Baodi and Dongli districts of Tianjin as the test materials, and prepares C30 recycled aggregate concrete. The effects of cement dosage, construction waste dosage, sand rate and water-cement ratio on the strength of recycled construction waste aggregate concrete were investigated. The results show that the influence of the four factors on the strength of recycled concrete in decreasing order is:cement dose, construction waste mixing amount, sand rate and water cement ratio. The optimal combination was 418 kg/m3 of cementitious material,0.38 water cement ratio,20%of construction waste admixture, and 39%of sand rate. The results fully verified the feasibility of the application of construction waste in the field of road accessory works.
