Key Techniques for Adaptability Adjustment of Steel Strand Cable Sleeves during Operation
In order to solve the problems of excessive deformation of the cable casing and the exposure of the extension pipe at the tower end during the operation of the steel strand cable-stayed bridge, which affects the durability of the steel strand,it is proposed to adjust the traditional telescopic end from the tower end to the beam end to reduce the expansion and contraction length of the cable casing under the combined effect of self-weight and temperature difference,so that the cable structure tends to be stable, and an on-site engineering transformation practice is relied on a double-tower four-cable surface full-floating cable-stayed bridge with a main span of 806 m.The engineering application shows that:1)after adopting the new scheme, the linear shape of the cable sleeve is obviously smooth, the tower end is used as the fixed end to eliminate the risk of the cable sleeve breaking away from the extension pipe during operation, and the expansion device at the beam end can facilitate the later maintenance and maintenance;2)The beam end cable casing can be used as a steel strand inspection window in the later stage, and plays the role of fire sheath, avoiding the damage of the cable-stayed cable caused by vehicle fire, and improving the overall durability of the cable structure;3)The optimization scheme and the corresponding construction technology can be used as a reference for the disease treatment of similar bridge cable casings.
