Study on the Hub Interchange Schemes between the Complex Sections of Existing Highways and the New Highways
In order to solve the problem of connecting the newly built Xuanwei-Panzhou expressway with the complex sections of existing Liupanshui-Panxian expressway, this paper first qualitatively analyzes the distribution of structures, linear indicators, distribution of corridor features, and geological conditions, and determines recommended connection points. Then,a combination of qualitative and quantitative methods is used to compare and select two connection schemes, composite hub interchange scheme(scheme 1)and cross hub and landing interchange scheme(scheme 2),from the aspects of project scale and investment, impact on the planning area, construction period guarantee, and traffic smoothness. The results show that scheme 1 is superior to scheme 2 in terms of project scale and investment, impact on the planning area, and construction period guarantee, while scheme 2 only has a slight advantage in terms of traffic smoothness.Overall, scheme 1 is more reasonable and feasible.
