Research on Dismantling Construction Technology of Double-curved Arch Bridge Based on Few Supports Method
In order to achieve safe and stable dismantling of double-curved arch bridges,a construction technique based on the method of few supports for dismantling double-curved arch bridges is introduced. In response to the limitations of not affecting waterway traffic, having minimal impact on the surrounding area, and having good economic benefits,a few support system is now adopted to effectively support the main arch ring at the 1/4 and 3/4 positions of each span of the double-curved arch bridge. Then small crushing tools and static cutting equipment were used to dismantle the hyperbolic arch bridge following the principles of gradual and balanced symmetry.Furthermore,Midas finite element software was used to simulate and analyze the entire dismantling construction project of the double-curved arch bridge, obtaining the deformation, stress theoretical values, and limit values of the main control sections of the arch ribs and the components of the few support system during each construction stage of the double-curved arch bridge. Finally, the measured deformation and stress values of the components obtained through on-site monitoring were compared with the theoretical and limit values obtained from simulation. The results indicate that the monitoring results are within a safe range, and the dismantling process of the double curved arch bridge is safe and stable. This technology can provide a new approach for the construction and design of double curved arch bridge dismantling.
