Stiffness Distribution Study on Anti-ship Collision Device for Bridge Superstructure
A height limiting device with damping bar for ship collision prevention is proposed to address the issue of collision on the upper structure of bridges. The dynamic numerical simulation method was used to analyze the influence of the stiffness of each component(beam, column and damping bar)on the impact effect and the energy dissipation capacity of the height limiting device considering different impact conditions. The research shows that:1)The stiffness of the crossbeam is the most sensitive indicator of the protective performance of the device, the impact force and rebound force increase while the displacement and internal energy decrease with the crossbeam stiffness increases;2)The stiffness of columns and tie rods is inversely correlated with displacement and energy absorption of the device, but has no effect on the impact force;3)Based on the energy ratio-stiffness ratio curve, the optimal stiffness ratio range and the design method for the device are proposed, which can provide reference for the design of similar devices.
