Essentials of Cross-line Building Design for Highway Service Area
This paper addresses the issue of how to adopt cross-line buildings of highway service areas to alleviate the contradiction between the increasing service demand and limited land resources.It adopts the case study method to discuss in-depth the key technologies of cross-line building design from the perspectives of resource intensification,safety and security,functional adaptability,supporting facilities and ease of use based on a compendium of this type of projects.The results show that,through scientific planning and prudent design that is moderately ahead of schedule,cross-line buildings can adopt the technical strategy of"connectivity and light service"to give full play to their advantages of land saving,eye-catching signage and resource integration,and to promote the three-dimensional development of service areas.
