The Impact of Industrial Agglomeration on The High-quality Development of Chinese Construction Industry
Agglomeration efficiency has become the driving force system for building high-quality de-velopment.Based on the provincial panel data from 2006 to 2021,this paper empirically tests the impact of industrial agglomeration on the high-quality development of China's construction industry by using the location entropy index method,entropy value method and Spatial panel dubin model.The results show that:①China's construction industry has significant regional agglomeration characteristics,among which the construction in-dustry in Zhejiang Province and Hubei Province has a high degree of agglomeration;②The level of industrial agglomeration in different regions has a significant impact on the spatial distribution of high-quality develop-ment of China's construction industry.The most prominent impact of agglomeration level is in the central re-gion,followed by the western and eastern regions,and finally in the northeast region;③Enterprise scale,own-ership structure and power equipment rate also have significant differences on the high-quality development of construction industry in different regions.④The high-quality development of China's construction industry has a certain"time inertia",showing a"snowball effect"and a spatial agglomeration.⑤Industrial agglomeration has a positive spatial spillover effect on the high-quality development of the construction industry.
