B2B E-commerce Platform:Research Progress,Analytical Framework and Future Direction
he rapid expansion of B2B e-commerce platforms has garnered significant attention from the academic community.However,current research in this domain lack a comprehensive in-tegration of existing findings.Meanwhile,inadequate focus on the unique influencing factors,strat-egies,and outcomes specific to B2B e-commerce platforms hinders a thorough understanding and further research in this area.This study,adopting a research development perspective,conducts a thorough review of Chinese and English literature published in prominent domestic and international academic journals from 2001 to 2022.It adopts an analytical framework of"influencing factors-strat-egies-outcomes"to examine the current research of B2B e-commerce platforms.Based on this anal-ysis,we propose an analytical framework for B2B e-commerce platforms and highlight potential fu-ture research directions,focusing on institutional factors among the influencing factors,governance strategies,platform ecosystem strategies,and internationalization strategies within operational strat-egies,as well as non-economic factors among the outcome variables.This provides valuable insights for future research and management practices in B2B e-commerce platforms.
