Pilot Policies of Free Trade Zones and the Complexity of Digital Service Export Technology:Theoretical Mechanism and Empirical Analysis
Set the pilot policy of free trade zones as a quasi natural experiment, and use dou-ble difference model to empirically test the impact and mechanism of the pilot policy of free trade zones on the technological complexity of digital service exports. The results indicate that the pilot free trade zone can positively promote the technological complexity of digital service exports. The mechanism test found that digital service trade barriers and new foreign trade infrastructure play a mediating role in the impact of pilot policies in free trade zones on the technological complexity of digital service exports. The heterogeneity test results confirm that the impact of pilot policies in the pilot free trade zone on the technical complexity of digital services export shows the regional differ-ence of"East>Central>Northeast>West"and the export target market difference of"countries along the the Belt and Road>countries not along the the Belt and Road".The spatial spillover effect test found that the pilot policies of free trade zones have a positive spatial spillover effect on the techno-logical complexity of digital service exports.
