Policy Incentives,Responsibility Orientation, and Corporate Green Technological Innovation:Evidence from Chinese New Energy Vehicle Listed Companies
This paper investigates the impact and underlying mechanisms of the coordination be-tween central and local industrial policies on the green technology innovation of new energy vehicle enterprises in China.Utilizing panel data from China's A-share listed companies from 2010 to 2021,the empirical results reveal several key findings.First, there exists a U-shaped relationship between the degree of coordination of central and local industrial policies and the performance of green technology innovation in new energy vehicle enterprises.Second, corporate social responsibility positively mod-erates the relationship between the coordination of central and local industrial policies and the green innovation of new energy vehicle enterprises. However, this moderating effect initially strengthens and then weakens as the degree of coordination increases.Third, government subsidies and enterprise R&D investment partially mediate the synergistic influence of central and local industrial policies on enter-prises'green innovation.Furthermore, the nature of property rights and the level of marketization ex-hibit significant heterogeneous impacts on policy coordination.
