摘要
研究使用 2007 至 2019 年中国A股上市公司面板数据,以国家智慧城市试点政策的首次实施为准自然实验,通过构建双重差分模型、有匹配的三重差分模型,深入探究了智慧城市战略对企业层面的就业影响.结果表明:智慧城市战略能够显著促进企业就业,该结论在一系列稳健性检验后仍然成立;智慧城市战略通过增加企业员工收入、推动企业成长和拓宽信息渠道,进而促进企业就业的增长;智慧城市战略对企业就业的促进效果在高技术企业、制造业、国有企业、竞争性行业和大企业更为显著.研究结论对中国推行智慧城市建设、保障居民就业、实现城市发展变革与实施就业优先战略具有重要的现实意义.
Abstract
The study uses panel data of China's A-share listed companies from 2007 to 2019,and takes the implementation of the national smart city pilot policy as a quasi-natural experiment,con-structs a double difference model,a matched triple difference model,and explores in depth the im-pact of the smart city strategy on employment at the enterprise level.The results show that:the smart city strategy can significantly promote enterprise employment,and this conclusion still holds after a series of robustness tests;the smart city strategy promotes the growth of enterprise employment by increasing the income of enterprise employees,promoting the growth of enterprises and broadening the information channels;the promotion effect of the smart city strategy on enterprise employment is more significant in high-tech enterprises,manufacturing industries,state-owned enterprises,compet-itive industries and large enterprises.The findings of the study are of great practical significance for the implementation of smart city construction,the protection of residents'employment,the transfor-mation of urban development and the implementation of the employment priority strategy in China.
