Future Trends of Online Curriculum Development from the Perspective of Embodied Cognition
Under the influence of tool rationality,online course development pays more attention to the intelligence of technology and the quality of video production than to the embodiment of learners—the integration of body and mind in course practice,showing a kind of"detached orientation".According to the completeness of physical participation in learning activities,the curriculum development can be divided into three stages:the pre-language stage of the curriculum,the out-of-body stage of the curriculum,and the embodied stage of online and offline courses.Although information technology for the online course provides a networked and intelligent development,diversification,personalization,and so on infinite possible,but inevitably brings about the"absence of the body","information lost","knowledge set"and a series of problems.The essence of this trend of"dissociation"is caused by the separation of time and space between teachers and students in online courses.How to strengthen human body involvement in the development of online courses and avoid the risks caused by disembodied orientation?Researchers believe that we should pay attention to the value orientation,standard system and boundary consciousness of the development of online courses,and do the following aspects:First,pay attention to the physical"present"sense of participation;Second,pay attention to flexible individual adaptability;Third,pay attention to the dynamic generation of online courses.
