Human-AI Coexistence Paradigm:Educational Transformation in the Perspective of Generative Artificial Intelligence
As a driving force behind the new wave of technological revolution and industrial transformation,artificial intelligence is profoundly changing human beings'production and lifestyle,leading society towards an intelligent era of human-machine collaboration,cross-border integration,and co-creation and sharing.Generative Artificial Intelligence,as a specific type of AI,is innovatively developing,leading to chain-breaking breakthroughs,continuously embedding itself into the business processes of education,driving the transformation of the education and teaching fields,profoundly changing educational concepts,educational spaces,teaching methods,and educational management modes,and creating new educational scenarios and ecologies.Under the guidance of the theory of generative learning,this paper explains how human learning occurs from four dimensions:motivation,learning process,generation process,and creation process,laying a theoretical foundation for empowering teaching with generative AI;clarifies the role and function of generative AI in teaching in the"human-GenAI symbiosis"paradigm,including targeted knowledge generation,differentiated teaching,customized thinking ability cultivation paradigm,and multi-modal data construction of cognitive space;envisions four major application scenarios where generative AI leads to the construction of a new educational ecology:building a partnership between education and technology,assisting interdisciplinary learning,serving educational equity,and intelligent iteration;and summarizes and extracts three key principles of"human-GenAI symbiosis"-equality,cooperation,and sharing,in the hope of jointly creating a rich,diverse,and intelligent new educational ecology with intelligent symbiotic entities through a more open,collaborative,and innovative paradigm of human-AI relationships.
