Research on Gamification Scenario Design and Practice for Relieving Loneliness in Online Autonomous Learning
With the advancement of educational informatization 2.0,online learning has become an important supplement to classroom teaching,and a large number of online learning behaviors have occurred.However,teaching practice found that in situations where online learning is completely dependent for a long time,some students experience strong learning fatigue and loneliness,making it difficult to maintain their motivation for self-directed learning and insufficient participation.Based on real problems,this study combines the concept of gamified learning,guided by self-determination theory and gamified learning theory,starts from the perspectives of learning activity organization and learning content design,and designs gamified learning scenarios and effective feedback mechanisms for online self-directed learning activities to regulate the online learning process.Based on a 2-semester teaching practice activity,the research verified the effectiveness of learning scenario design in reducing student loneliness in online learning and enhancing their motivation,while identified some issues that require high attention from teachers:(1)Facing the phenomenon of student anxiety in online learning;(2)Be wary of the rebellious mentality of frequently urged players in the game;(3)Timely detection of student learning fatigue.In this regard,teachers need to intervene in a timely manner and prevent its spread.
