Building a career development system for college counselors in the new era is a theoretical review and practical concept based on the vitality of the career development of college counselors,focusing on the goal of cultivating outstanding counselors.The proposal of this development system has its profound theoretical foundation,among which the Marxist theory of free and comprehensive human development is its theoretical foundation,and the career development theory Competency theory and other theories provide im-portant theoretical references for the establishment of this system.From the perspective of the value requirements contained in the ca-reer development system of college counselors,the establishment and implementation of this system is an inherent and objective require-ment to promote the connotative development of college counselors,stimulate the endogenous motivation of college counselors,and re-shape the career development environment of college counselors.To promote the establishment and rooting of the career development system for college counselors,it is necessary to build an organizational system,training system,evaluation system,and support system for the career development of college counselors,actively promote the transformation and upgrading of college counselor career develop-ment,continuously enhance the competence and development ability of college counselors,and ensure that the team of college counsel-ors is continuous and has successors.
