Citrus is an important cash crop in southern Jiangxi, and the selenium content in citrus fruits is low due to the in-fluence of soil selenium availability.Previous research results have shown that under the foliar application of 200 mg/L sodium selenite, the fruit of'Newhall'navel orange can reach the selenium-rich standard, and at the same time, the fruit quality is im-proved.Based on this,in order to explore the effect of foliar selenium nutrition enhancement on the fruit quality of different citrus varieties, six citrus varieties were used as experimental materials to study the selenium content and fruit quality-related indicators of different citrus varieties under foliar selenium nutrition enhancement. The results show that the enrichment ability of selenium in the six citrus varieties is different, and the changes in fruit quality also vary. The selenium content in the edible part of the fruit of navel oranges and mandarins in citrus has significantly increased, and the soluble sugar content in the fruit has also significantly increased. However,in oranges, the selenium content in the fruit has significantly increased, and the changes in fruit quality indicators are not significant. In comprehensive comparison, oranges and mandarins in citrus are more suitable for selenium-rich cultivation. The research results provide a theoretical basis for variety selection in selenium-rich cit-rus production and improving the utilization rate of selenium fertilizer.
