The Reconstruction of Hakka Folk Cultural Rituals and Rural Public Solidarity
During the process of urban-rural modernization, the accelerated migration of rural populations and the resulting"hollowing out"of rural areas have led to issues such as social fragmentation and cultural disorder, hindering rural develop-ment.The revitalization of rural culture, one of the five key elements of the rural revitalization strategy,is both a task and a solution.Hakka rural areas are rich in folk culture, with numerous ritual activities throughout the year.Research has found that traditional folk cultural rituals can invigorate rural life and effectively integrate the relationships between individuals,fami-lies,clans,villages,and between rural areas and local governments amidst the modernization process. This integration can re-construct rural public solidarity.
