The Adverbialization of"Chǎng kāi(ér)"in Beijing Official Speech from the Perspective of Manchu-Han Language Contact
The term"chǎng kāi(ér)"in Beijing Official Speech,influenced by Manchu during the Qing Dynasty,has devel-oped the properties and usage of an adverbial phrase based on its original verb form,exhibiting strong regional and unique char-acteristics.This paper sorts and organizes the corpus containing the adverbial phrase"chǎng kāi(ér)"from the BCC corpus of Beijing Language and Culture University,the CCL corpus of Peking University,and the Ancient Chinese corpus.It analyzes the special origin,process,and usage distribution of the adverbialization of the Beijing Official dialect word"chǎng kāi(ér)",and attempts to explain from the perspective of Manchu-Han language contact.It is believed that the adverbial usage of"chǎng kāi(ér)"originates from the Manchu word"cang-kai",and the specific substrate source should be the unpointed Manchu"changgai".
