(Signal transducer and activator of transcriptor,STAT)信号途径与髓核细胞凋亡过程联系密切.
Abstract
Intervertebral disc degeneration(IDD)is an age-related degenerative disease. In recent years, the incidence of IDD has been increasing year by year.It has become a public health problem of global concern.Apoptosis of nucleus pulposus cells,as the main cells in the intervertebral disc,is one of the important pathological bases of disc degeneration.Studies have shown that the Janus kinase(JAK)/signal transducer and activator of the transcriptor(STAT)signaling pathway is closely associated with the apoptotic process of the nucleus pulposus. This paper reviews the progress of JAK/STAT signaling pathway-mediated apoptosis in intervertebral discs and the potential therapeutic targets of the JAK/STAT signaling pathway in order to provide new research leads for the treatment of IDD.
