Deep vein thrombosis(DVT)refers to the formation of blood clots within deep veins.When a thrombus forms within a deep vein,it leads to obstruction of blood circulation and causes a series of clinical symptoms and complications.Neutrophil extracellular traps(NETs)are extracellular structures released by neutrophils,and the study of NETs is important for understanding the function of the immune system and the mechanisms of inflammation and infection.In recent years,more and more studies have shown that NETs play an important role in the formation of DVT.This review focuses on the mechanisms by which NETs promote the formation of DVT,summarizes the predictive indicators of DVT associated with NETs,and provides new ideas for future research and early diagnosis and treatment of DVT.
