Objective:To explore the integration of outcome-based education(OBE)concepts into basic medical experimental teaching practices, providing a solid theoretical foundation for analyzing the incorporation of OBE principles into teaching reform. Methods:Guided by OBE concepts, the study utilized a basic medical experiment skills competition as the focal point.Participants and training teachers were selected as samples to reverse-design the training program for skill competitions and implement of the teaching process in a forward manner. The achievement of goals by participants and teachers before and after training was observed.Results:⑴ The questionnaire survey results show that compared with the traditional teaching mode, the achievement degree of students'training objectives(practical operation skills, clinical thinking ability and scientific research ability)under the guidance of OBE education teaching concept was significantly improved, and the achievement degree of teachers'teaching objectives(renewal degree of education and teaching concept, innovative teaching and student participation)was significantly improved. The degree of achievement of teaching results has been significantly improved.⑵ Feedback on the teaching results of the Basic Medical Experimental Skills Competition, and won the group second prize in both competitions. Conclusion:Integrating OBE concepts into basic medical experimental teaching has demonstrable advantages and feasibility, the achievements of goals of the teachers and students have been improved greatly, with certain advantages and operability.
