Value of pregnancy detection of candida vaginitis in the preterm delivery prediction
Objective:To investigate application value of the detection of candida vaginitis during pregnancy in predicting preterm delivery.Methods:A total of 85 pregnant women with candida vaginitis admitted to Xunxian People's Hospital from January 2020 to January 2023 were selected to receive vaginal secretions examination.They were divided into preterm and non-preterm according to their gestational weeks.General data,laboratory test indicators of vaginal secretions and vaginal microecology of the two groups were collected.Multivariate Logistic regression was used to analyze the factors affecting pregnancy outcome,receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC curve)was drawn and areas under the ROC curve(AUC)was calculated.The predictive value of vaginal secretions and vaginal microecological examination for premature birth was analyzed.Results:For premature delivery group(n=43)and non-premature delivery group(n=37),multivariate logistic regression analysis showed that the length of cervical canal(OR=0.001,95%CI=0.000-0.052)was the protective factor for premature delivery,and(FFN,OR=1.054,95%CI 1.007-1.104),C-reactive protein(CRP,OR=1.321,95%CI 1.057-1.651),low lactobacillus content(OR=31.688,95%CI 2.860-351.114)were the protective factors for premature delivery(P<0.05).ROC curve analysis,cervical canal length(AUC=0.889,95%CI 0.799-0.949,sensitivity 90.70%,specificity 73.00%),CRP(AUC=0.703,95%CI 0.590-0.800,sensitivity 95.35%,specificity 37.84%),FNN(AUC=0.706,95%CI 0.593-0.802,sensitivity 51.16%,specificity 86.49%),low lactobacillus content(AUC=0.544,95%CI 0.429-0.656,sensitivity 79.07%,specificity 29.73%)were the predictors of premature delivery in pregnant women with candidal vaginitis.Conclusions:It is very important to diagnose and treat candida vaginitis in time through vaginal secretions and vaginal microecological detection,which is closely related to whether it causes premature birth.Cervical canal length,FFN,CRP and lactobacillus content have good predictive value for premature delivery.
