Correlation analysis of brain natriuretic peptide,lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2 and low density lipoprotein cholesterol with coronary atherosclerotic heart disease
Objective:To analyze the relationship between brain natriuretic peptide(BNP),lipoprotein-associated phospholipase A2(Lp-PLA2)and low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)and coronary atherosclerotic heart disease(CHD).Methods:Sixty-eight patients with CHD admitted to Zhengzhou First People's Hospital from February 2023 to February 2024 were retrospectively analyzed.According to the results of coronary angiography, the CHD patients were divided into 32 cases with single coronary artery disease,21 cases with double coronary artery disease and 15 cases with 3 coronary artery disease. At the same time, the clinical data of 65 patients with non-CHD admitted in the same hospital during the same period were selected and included into the CHD group and non-CHD group, respectively. The clinical data and laboratory indicators were compared between CHD group and non-CHD group. The influencing factors of CHD occurrence were analyzed, the changes in BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C levels in CHD patients with different degrees of coronary stenosis were compared, and the correlation between the study indexes and the degree of coronary stenosis in CHD and the diagnostic value of CHD were analyzed. Results:The levels of BNP,Lp-PLA2,and LDL-C in the CHD group were all higher than those in the non-CHD group(P<0.001).BNP≥median level(OR=3.093,95% CI:1.521-6.287),Lp-PLA2(OR=3.684,95% CI:1.777-7.638),and LDL-C(OR=2.489,95% CI:1.351-4.588)were independent risk factors for CHD(P<0.001).The levels of BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C in patients with three-branch lesions were higher than those in patients with single-branch and double-branch lesions(P<0.001).Also,the levels of BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C were positively correlated with the degree of coronary stenosis(r=0.737,0.757,0.720,P<0.001).The levels of BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C and the area under the curve(AUC)of the combined diagnosis of CHD were 0.893,0.888,0.867 and 0.897,respectively,showing high diagnostic efficacy(P<0.001).Conclusions:The occurrence of CHD is closely related to BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C,and the levels of BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C are positively correlated with the degree of coronary artery stenosis.Clinically, the levels of BNP,Lp-PLA2 and LDL-C can be used as the predictive indicators of CHD.
