Research Status of Electric-Fenton Method for Wastewater Treatment
The electric Fenton method can effectively degrade various organic pollutants in wastewater due to its ability to generate strong oxidizing hydroxyl radicals (·OH) through the reaction between in-situ generated H2O2 and Fe2+. This article introduced the improvement and reaction principle of the electric Fenton method on the basis of the traditional Fenton method, focusing on the impact of the electric Fenton method on initial pH,aeration rate, solution conductivity, and current density. It looks forward to the efficient and clean treatment of refractory organic wastewater by the electric Fenton method. In the future, the degradation rate can be improved through further research on new cathode materials and the combined effect of other processes.
