Pilot-Scale Study on Preparation of Recycled Filler from Sludge in Waterworks
At present, the sludge from waterworks is still mainly landfill, with extremely low levels of disposal and utilization, and is prone to causing secondary pollution to the environment,so resource utilization is undoubtedly an effective technical means to achieve sludge reuse.A two-step process of"conditioning modification+solidification stabilization"was adopted to study the preparation of regenerated fillers from sludge in a certain waterworks. The recycled filling material obtained had high strength and no pollution risk. When applied to actual trench landfilling, the compaction degree of the trench was no less than 85%,and the 7 d unconfined compressive strength was no less than 0.40 MPa,which met the requirements of trench backfilling and could ensure the stable quality of the backfilling project.
