Effect of Organic Matter on Nitrite Accumulation in Partial Nitrification Process
In order to ensure the operational stability of partial nitrification process, investigate the influence of influent organic matter on nitrite accumulation, and determine the applicability of partial nitrification process.Using SBR reactor, the organic matter concentration in the influent was adjusted, and the organic matter and nitrogen content in the effluent of the reactor were regularly detected. The appropriate influent COD concentration for partial nitrification process should not exceed 150 mg/L.Under these conditions, partial nitrification processes could achieve better NH4+-N removal and NO2--N accumulation effects.Under the condition of organic matter in the influent, there was a problem of nitrogen loss in the nitrification reaction. The high mass concentration of COD was not conducive to the removal of organic carbon sources in the reactor.
