The evolution of production-living-ecology spaces and eco-environmental effect in Keriya River Basin
[Objective]The study aimed to explore the impact of land use transformation on ecological environment in the Keriya River Basin.[Method]Based on four periods of land use remote sensing monitor-ing data in 1990,2000,2010 and 2020,The spatial and temporal evolution characteristics of production,liv-ing and ecological function spaces in the Keriya River Basin and the eco-environment effect of function space transfer were quantitatively analyzed.[Result]From 1990 to 2020,the production and living space in the Keriya River Basin increased and the ecological space decreased, and the transformation of land use func-tions was mainly manifested by the transformations between grassland and other ecological land, and be-tween other ecological land and agricultural production land. From 1990 to 2020,the ecological environmen-tal quality index in the Keriya River Basin showed a downward trend firstly and then a upward trend. The biggest change occurred in the midstream and downstream areas. From 1990 to 2020,the improvement of the ecological environment quality in the Keriya River basin could be mainly attributed to the transformation of other ecological land into the grassland and the water ecological land, and the contribution of both reached 97.28% .On the contrary, the conversion of agricultural production land, grassland ecological land and wa-ter ecological land to the other ecological lands was the main reason for the deterioration of ecological envi-ronment quality in the basin, and the contribution rate of the three was 98.50% .Population, economic fac-tors and agricultural development factors were the direct driving forces for the change of Production-Living-Ecology spaces in the Keriya River basin.[Conclusion]Although the eco-environmental quality of Keriya River basin has improved, the eco-environmental problems are still serious and it is necessary to strengthen the governance and protection of agricultural production land, grassland ecological land and water ecological land.
