Study on the Application of Colloidal Gold Immunochromatography in the Detection of Pesticide Residues in Chinese Chives
To validate the reliability and applicability of colloidal gold immunochromatographic technology in the detection of pesticide residues in Chinese chives,3 different types of colloidal gold immunochromatographic rapid test products(colloidal gold pesticide rapid test reagents)were used to detect 6 types of pesticide residues, including fludioxonil, imidacloprid, thiamethoxam, carbendazim, cypermethrin, and triazophos,in Chinese chives. These results were compared with those obtained using chromatography-mass spectrometry tandem method, assessing their sensitivity, false positive rate, and false negative rate. The results showed that at 0.5 LOD pesticide addition level, all 3 colloidal gold pesticide rapid test reagents yielded negative results for laboratory controls. However, when the addition levels reached LOD or MLR,the results were positive, demonstrating high sensitivity of the colloidal gold pesticide rapid test reagents, which comply with the national standards for maximum residue limits in food.Laboratory spike tests and actual sample comparison tests showed no significant differences(χ2<3.84)between the colloidal gold rapid detection technology and the chromatography-mass spectrometry method, with both false negative and false positive rates being 0.Therefore,colloidal gold immunochromatographic method can be applied in the rapid detection of pesticide residues in Chinese chives.
