At present,the aging situation in rural society is becoming increasingly severe.How to solve the problem of old-age care for the rural elderly,especially the elderly living alone,has become an urgent practical problem and an im-portant proposition of the times.The existing external research perspectives of increasing financial input,optimizing system design,strengthening technology application,etc.from top to bottom are difficult to effectively solve the vast majority of practical problems in rural areas.Based on the investigation of rural areas in Henan and Shanxi and the introduction of the perspective of"endogenous village community",the research finds:with distinct characteristics of family management,low operating costs,obvious price advantages,and strong market adaptability,the nursing home for farmers in the village community is highly embedded in the village acquaintance society,highly compatible with the paying ability of farmers'families,and highly compatible with the needs of rural elderly residents for old-age care.In essence,it is an endogenous product of the marketization of county social old-age care services.It has increasingly become an important development trend in the field of rural elderly care.Compared with popular pension models such as policy backstop,institutional lead-ership,and village community coordination,family management requires less government investment,has stronger market resilience,and matches the ability of farmer families and the local needs of rural elderly people,which is expected to be-come an important solution to rural aging.
