Bring the Performance Back in:A Review and Prospect of Researches on Government Outsourcing(2013-2023)
Over the past decade,the Chinese scholars have carried out a lot of researches on government outsorcing.However,some of the studies seem to be detached from the purpose of improving government performance.This paper analyses the relevant Chinese studies published during 2013-2023,and finds that there are three main research paths:government outsorcing as political process,organisational processand project management.However,only the third path is more in line with the original intention public admin-istration.To bring the performance back,there are some problems need to be tackled,which requires scholars to combine the rela-tive theory and the new requirements from government practice.
