中文摘要：张锡纯应用甘草经验丰富,在其书《医学衷中参西录》所载方剂中使用甘草者达50余首.其认为甘草性温、味甘,能和中解毒,善治霍乱;可生金益肺,善治阴虚劳热;善解热毒,治下痢腹痛;善以甘缓之性,调和诸药;善调和脾胃,缓肝之急.临证常配伍白芍益脾胃滋阴、双补气血,配山药以和胃,配知母以化其苦寒之性,配金银花以清热解毒.张锡纯应用甘草之经验值得深入挖掘,以为今用.

外文摘要：ZHANG Xichun has extensive experience in the application of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma.Over 50 prescriptions in his book Records of Chinese Medicine with Reference to Western Medicine included Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma.He holds the belief that Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma is warm and sweet in nature,capable of harmonizing and detoxifying,and effective in treating cholera.It can nourish the lung,treat yin deficiency,alleviate heat toxin and cure dysentery and abdominal pain;its mild nature is beneficial for harmonizing drugs,regulating the spleen and stomach and soothing the liver.In clinical syndromes,it is often combined with Paeoniae Radix Alba to benefit the spleen and stomach and nourish yin,tonify qi and blood,with Dioscoreae Rhizoma to strengthen the sto-mach,with Anemarrhenae Rhizoma to mitigate its bitter coldness,and with Lonicerae Japonicae Flos to clear heat and detoxify.ZHANG Xichun's experience in the application of Glycyrrhizae Radix et Rhizoma is worthy of in-depth ex-ploration for contemporary usage.
