Clinical study of acupuncture combined acupotomy at Huatuo Jiaji(Ex-B2)in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with stomach collateral blood stasis syndrome
Objective To observe the clinical efficacy of acupuncture in combination with acupotomy at Hua-tuo Jiaji(Ex-B2)in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with stomach collateral blood stasis syndrome.Me-thods 80 patients with chronic atrophic gastritis and stomach collateral blood stasis syndrome were divided into a control group and a treatment group using the random number table method,with 40 cases in each group.The control group received conventional acupuncture treatment.The main acupuncture points were Zusanli(ST36)(bilateral),Neiguan(PC6)(bilateral),Gongsun(SP4)(bilateral),and Zhongwan(RN12).The combined acupuncture points were Xuehai(SP10)(bilateral)and Zhangmen(LR13)(bilateral).The twisting and reducing manipulations were performed after obtaining qi.The treatment was administered five times a week.In the treatment group,on the basis of the treatment given to the control group,acupotomy was performed at bilateral Huatuo Jiaji at T5-T8,twice a week.Both groups were treated for four weeks.The clinical efficacy and pathological tissue scores of the gastric mucosa before and after treatment were compared between the two groups.Results The total effective rate was 77.5％(31/40)in the control group and 95.5％(38/40)in the treatment group.The difference was statis-tically significant(P＜0.05).After treatment,the pathological tissue scores of the gastric mucosa in both groups de-creased significantly.The difference was statistically significant when compared to that before treatment(P＜0.01),and the decrease was more pronounced in the treatment group.The difference was statistically significant compared to the control group after treatment(P＜0.01).Conclusion The combination of acupuncture and acupotomy at Huatuo Jiaji in the treatment of chronic atrophic gastritis with stomach collateral blood stasis shows a remarkable clinical effect.It can restore the gastric mucosa,improve gastric function,and enhance the patients'quality of life,and is worthy of clinical application.
