Professor CAI Shengchao's clinical experience in the treatment of sensory aphasia after stroke with the method of Tiaoren Fuyuan
This paper summarizes the clinical experience of professor CAI Shengchao in treating sensory aphasia post-stroke.He believes that the primary cause of sensory aphasia after stroke is internal deficiency combined with pathogenic invasion and internal injury accumulation.The basic pathogenesis is characterized by deficiency in origin and excess in manifestation,with deficiency of vital energy as the root cause and phlegm obscuring the mind and blood stasis in the collaterals as the superficial cause.The disease is located in the brain and is closely related to the Ren Meridian.The treatment is guided by the principle of"Tiaoren Fuyuan"primarily using moxibustion to supple-ment the Ren Meridian,combined with topical application of Jieyu Gao(解语膏)and acupuncture according to syn-drome differentiation,all of which have shown good clinical efficacy.A typical case is provided for verification.
