Discussion on rules of acupoint selection for acupuncture treatment of post-stroke depression based on data mining
Objective To investigate the clinical acupoint selection rules of acupuncture for treating post-stroke depression using data mining technology. Methods A search was conducted in the CNKI and Wanfang data-bases for clinical research literature on acupuncture treatment for post-stroke depression from January 1,2011 to March 1,2022.An Excel database of acupuncture prescriptions for post-stroke depression was established, and SPSS Modeler 18.0 software was used to analyze acupoint association rules, with cluster analysis performed using SPSS 23.0 software. Results A total of 114 literatures were included, comprising 114 acupuncture prescriptions,92 acu-points and 1075 instances of acupoint use.The top seven most frequently used acupoints are Baihui(DU20),Neiguan(PC6)-Taichong(LR3),Sanyinjiao(SP6),Shenmen(HT7)-Zusanli(ST36),and Yintang(EX-HN3);emphasis is placed on Du meridian points as well as liver and bladder meridian points;acupuncture treatments pre-dominantly target the head, face, neck, lower extremities and upper extremities. The most common combinations include Baihui-Neiguan and Baihui-Taichong with high support degrees.Cluster analysis yielded four effective clus-ters and four key acupoint combinations. Conclusion Acupuncture treatment for post-stroke depression emphasizes differentiation of viscera points along with combining upper and lower points while adhering to therapeutic principles such as activating Du meridian and awakening the brain, elevating Yang qi,relieving depression, and calming the mind while regulating qi and energy. The therapeutic effect is reliable.
