Experimental research on direct reduction for carbon-containing pellets of vanadium-titanium magnetite
Based on the direct reduction process of rotary hearth furnace (RHF),the influences of the three factors such as mole ratio of carbon to oxygen, reduction temperature and reduction time on the metallization rate of carbon-containing pellets of vanadium-titanium magnetite were studied by orthogonal experiment, and their influence laws were also analyzed. The results showed that among the factors of affecting metallization rate, the mole ratio of carbon to oxygen was the most important, the reduction time was the second, and the reduction temperature was not significant. The metallization rate reached the maximum 94.59 % under the technological condition as follows:the mole ratio of carbon to oxygen was 1.0,the reduction temperature 1 350 ℃,and the reduction time 25 min.
