Experimental study on pelleting optimization for direct reduction
The effects of binder,binder dosage,pelletizing pressure and water addition on green ball properties of vanadium and titanium magnetite pellets were studied by orthogonal experiments and single factor experiments,the optimized process parameters were got and the best pelletizing process was determined.The results showed that organic binder J had the greatest impact on the strength of green pellets,organic binder H had the second,and inorganic binder P had the least.Under the condition of adding organic binder J in iron concentrate pellets,the green pellets of the better quality could be producted with binder dosage 2.5 ％-3.0 ％,pelletizing pressure 15-17.5 MPa and water addition 4 ％-5 ％.
