Effect of pore structure of sinter ore on sintering strength
The formation causes of different pore structures in the bending phase of sinter under the influence of three iron ore fines were researched by means of micro-sintering,and the effect of the size and distribution of the pore on sinter strength was tested and analyzed. The results showed that sinter strength was strongly related to the morphology, size and number of the pore. Both the size and number of the pore in sinter increased during sintering when using those ore fines with either excess or short of fluidity, which affected the sintering strength.
