为了研究氟化物对钢中Al2O3夹杂物的改性作用,在某钢厂2t中频电炉中进行了钢中加氟化物的试验.在完成了对钢种的成分、温度控制后,向钢中加入以CaF2/MgF2混合物为主要组成的改性剂,探讨对钢中氧化铝夹杂物的改性作用.结果表明:向钢液中加入氟化物改性剂后,能够将钢中的Al2O3夹杂物改性成Al2O3与MnS的复合夹杂物,夹杂物心部Al2O3较多,MnS较少,而在边缘MnS含量增多,呈现出MnS包裹或半包裹Al2O3的复合形态,在难变形Al2O3与钢之间形成1个易变形的MnS缓冲层,减小了l2O3对钢基体的危害.
Influence of fluoride on modification of Al2O3 inclusions in steel
To study the effect of fluoride on the modification of Al2O3 inclusions in steel,the experiment of adding fluoride into steel during melting process was carried out in 2 ton medium frequency furnace.Mter the composition and the temperature of the molten steel reached the experimental requirements,the composite modifier composed of CaF2/MgF2 mixture was added into the molten steel and the effect of the modifier on the modification of Al2O3 inclusions in steel was studied.The results showed that MnS and Al2O3 compound type inclusions appeared in the steel after modification treatment.The central position of the inclusions contained more Al2O3 and MnS content increased at the edge.The composite inclusions of MnS enwrapping and half enwrapping Al2O3 were formed.The deformable MnS buffer layer formed between Al2O3 and the steel matrix,could reduce the harm of Al2O3.
