Study on the dynamic tensile behavior of the cold-rolled and CSP press-hardening thin steel sheets
In order to make an investigation on the comparison of dynamic tensile properties, both cold-rolled and CSP hot-rolled press-hardening steel sheet blanks were austenized and quenched at a same cooling rate through a same tool, which resulted in as-quenched microstructures with approximate 100 % of Martensite. Then, the dynamic tensile tests were conducted at strain rotes from 0.005 to 333/s.The results of the tensile tests indicated that both cold-rolled and CSP hot-rolled press-hardening steels had the same hardening properties during tension and were both insensitive to the strain rate.
