Review of marine ecological protection compensation for poverty reduction in coastal areas
The ecological protection compensation system is considered as an effective measure to improve the gap between the rich and the poor among regions,which helps to achieve the dual goals of protecting the ecological environment and promoting common prosperity.The improvement of ecological environment quality,the transformation and upgrading of fishery production,and the industrial development in surrounding areas brought about by the implementation of marine ecological protection compensation system have an important impact on fishermen's income and the social and economic balanced development of coastal areas.This paper studies the role of the marine ecological protection compensation system in promoting increased returns for fishermen and rural revitalization,and proposes suggestions for legislation on ecological protection compensation regulations to better promote the implementation of the marine ecological protection compensation system.
